Major Studies: Human Development; Caring for Newborns, Toddlers & Children; Play; Leisure Skills; Health, Safety & Children Protection; First Aid; Practical Work Experience. Entry Requirements: 16 years of age. Year 10 pass. Course Duration: 21 weeks. Mode of Study: Full-time. Accreditation: State Training Board of Victoria. Articulation: Credit Transfer to TAFE possible. Career Outcomes: Qualifies graduates as Child Care Assistants - to work in a child care centre and/or before / after school programs.
