Students then proceed to Diploma programs and onto 2nd year university. It provides an alternative pathway to university studies for students who may not have been able to gain direct entry to university. Upon successful completion of the Diploma, students are eligible for direct entry into second year of a range of Deakin University Bachelor of Computing degree courses. Articulation into other Australian universities is also available. Major Studies: Information Technology; Programming; Data Structures & Algorithms; Software Engineering; Microcomputer Application; Mathematics & Statistics; Scientific Communication; Data Collection & Analysis.
