Entry Requirements: Entry is by audition only. Course Duration: 3 years full-time. Commences in January each year. Mode of Study: Full time only. Accreditation Details: State Training Board of Victoria Articulation: No formal articulation currently exists however students have been granted credit for other dance courses. Career Outcomes: Opportunities exist for employment in professional dance companies in Australia and overseas. There are 6 levels of training in Junior School - Preps (age 8/9) and Levels 1 - 5 covering ages 10 - 15. Full time Level 5 includes dance training and academic Year 10. Major Studies: Classical Ballet; Character Dance; Contemporary Dance; Pas de Deux; Performance Classes; Allied Studies in Pilates, Music, Psychology, Nutrition; Art Appreciation. Entry Requirements: Entry is by audition. Course Duration: February to mid-December each year. Mode of Study: Part-time, Levels Prep - 4 (after school hours and Saturdays). Level 5 - daily including Saturdays. Career Outcomes: Opportunity to advance your training by graduating into the Advance Diploma of Dance course at The Australian Ballet School.
