Go Press - Who are we?

Go Press is a  Victorian based firm who have, since 1993, published   The Go Guide - Good Options in Education & Training. 

The firm was founded by Annie Dawson and Peter Cameron, both teachers with experience in careers education.  Information about university and TAFE courses is easily accessible by careers advisers and others.   Information about the many other training options is available mainly in brochure format, which is often difficult to locate.  The Go Guide resolves these problems.

Background of Directors

Annie Dawson works as a careers counsellor, career planning consultant and teacher.   She has nearly twenty years experience as a careers counsellor in secondary schools as well as several years experience in career transition roles for corporate and government clients.   She has  conducted hundreds of  career planning workshops for organisations such as Telstra, Ernst & Young, the former Federal Department of Administrative Services and has a range of other private clients.  In addition to her private practice, she acts as Careers Adviser  at  The Woodleigh School in Victoria.   She holds a Graduate Diploma in Careers Education, a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Professional Member of the Australian Association of Careers Counsellors.

Peter Cameron is a Director of Avalanche Technology Group Pty Ltd of which Go Press and Avalanche Media are related entities.   The group distributes software, publishes directories, newsletters and related marketing and business communication tools.  Peter holds qualification in business, teaching and youth work.  He is a foundation member of the Institute of Enterprise Facilitators.
